| Cache Copy | A motorist was killed today when a mobile crane crushed his car in Brisbane's south-east. Police said the accident on Mt Cotton Road at Burbank occurred at 3.30pm (AEST). Two occupants of another vehicle which was clipped in the accident were taken to hospital with minor injuries. The crane driver was unhurt. |

The accident involved a mobile crane owned by C & S Crane Service, said Capt. Pat Ajuria of the Marysville Fire Department. The crane operator had just finished placing air conditioning units on the roof of a dialysis center behind the government center when the crane's boom caught what appeared to be “a pretty major line,” he said. | 6/19/04: Jakarta, Indonesia — Second crane accident at SBDC | Cache Copy | A plywood sheet that was being lifted by a crane fell onto a passing Honda sedan in front of the Sudirman Business District Center (SBDC) Suites construction project in South Jakarta on Friday afternoon. 5/04/04 Accident: 3 workers killed. Police have arrested three managers of a construction firm. They will be charged with Article 359 of the Criminal Code for negligence causing death and face a maximum of five years jail. |
| Cache Copy | Crane collapses at a Panhandle construction site yesterday in Walton County. It happened at the White Cliffs Condos on Blue Mountain Beach Road just off of Highway 30-A. The sheriff's office says when the crane broke it swung inside of the crane cab hitting the crane operator. After the crane broke a construction crew member working on the third floor of the building was seriously injured. The two were life flighted to a Pensacola hospital. The cause of the accident is still under investigation. |
According to the Department of Transportation, a young, male worker was operating a piece of machinery called a manlift when he was hit by the train. The manlift is used to raise a worker to an elevated position. |

| 6/10/04: New Zealand — Worker escapes as crane plunges into sea | Cache Copy | A crane driver narrowly escaped injury after the crane he was driving toppled into the sea at the Port of Tauranga yesterday. Port of Tauranga cargo services manager Grant MacVey said he believed a mobile crane went out of control after a brake failure and plunged into the sea. |

| 6/02/04: Kennesaw, Georgia — Crane Crashes Onto Cobb Home | Cache Copy | | Another Cache Copy (text only) | The boom of a 180-foot crane came crashing down onto a woman's home about 6 p.m. Tuesday, as she was inside eating dinner. The massive arm (boom) literally sliced its way through the roof of the two-story home, located in the 4200 block of Revere Walk, crashing through an upstairs spare bedroom and into the living room on the main floor. All legal documents, contracts, insurance policies, etc., should be kept in a secure place, off premises, in the event of a fire. It is best to seek the advice of an attorney, before making any agreement or signing a contract. Warning! No one should be allowed in the home while a crane's boom is over the home, period. |
